Chris Buckley - Chair of Management Committee

I have been the chair of Project 6's management committee since 2009 and I've been on the committee for over 5 years. I am the manager of an NHS community mental health team based in Bradford, we work with older people and their carers who are experiencing mental health problems.

I have worked in a variety of mental health services both community and hospital based as I am a psychiatric nurse specialising in working with mental health and substance related problems. I am also an NVQ assessor (Health & Social Care) and an experienced lecturer and trainer.

I first visited Project 6 over ten years ago as a student nurse. At that time it was a small project with a needle exchange offering harm reduction advice. The growth and development of the organisation since then is fantastic and a real reflection of the hard work of the superb clinical staff, ongoing support from a wide group of commissioners and the dedication of the management team.

Liz Gilmartin

I have been a member of Project 6 Management Committee for about 6 years.I am currently working in a public health role, as a specialist nurse for young people leaving care across Bradford and Airedale district. The young people are aged 15- 21, and many have drug and alcohol issues .Prior to this role, I was Service Manager at a Women’s drug service in Bradford, for 5 years, during which time I received tremendous support from Mike, and the staff team at Project 6. I feel that this experience, coupled with 25 years in health has enabled me to contribute to the growth and development of project 6, and its continued work supporting the local community.

Emma O'Neil - Treasurer

I currently work within debt recovery and arrange payments on overdue invoices for our clients when companies have ceased to trade.

As Project 6 treasurer I report back to the full management committee any financial details on the back of the finance meetings that are held.
